Tammy Stoerkel

Associate Wealth Advisor

In July of 2014 I joined Intentional Wealth Advisors as the firm’s Associate Wealth Advisor.  I work diligently for our clients developing, delivering, and servicing investment and financial planning.  Brian Ursu and I collaborate in the research, development, and maintenance of Intentional Wealth’s investment models.  Additionally, I oversee the day-to-day account maintenance, our client communication efforts, and office management and operations.  Focusing on our clients and guiding them to make decisions that are in their best interest is my top priority.

  • Securities Registrations; 65, 63, 6 and 7, held through LPL Financial
  • Life and Variable Contracts, licensed in Michigan
  • Bachelor of Business Administration from Davenport University 1998

I was fortunate to have been born and raised in Traverse City.  I attended Michigan State University for two years studying music.  After deciding I did not wish to take on any student loan debt, I moved back to Traverse City and changed directions.  I was hired by a local bank, which I initially thought would be an interim job until I found my “career.”  Well, 23 years later, while earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Davenport University (with no debt incurred) I realized I had already found my career in the financial industry.

I love and appreciate where I live and try to explore our beautiful area as often as possible.   My husband and I have two children; Brady, who attends Grand Valley State University, and Olivia, who is a student at Traverse City West High School.   When I’m not helping clients you can find me walking our new addition (a Goldendoodle puppy, Dune), boating, preparing culinary treats for my friends and family, exercising (so I can enjoy my culinary treats, too), cheering Olivia on at a tennis match, encouraging Brady to keep studying (so he can remain on the Dean’s list), or reading one of the many books on my recommended list.  I am also on the board of directors for the Traverse City chapter of Impact 100 and a committee member of mAIDens of Michigan.
